INDIAN URBAN RESOURCE MILLENNIUM ASSESSMENT (IURMA)

IURMA is one of the 24 partner assessments happening world wide under “Millennium Assessment (MA)” (www.millenniumassessment.org/en) to assess how ecosystems can meet human needs continually in future, without getting affected.

MA is a program launched by World Resource Institute, Washington in year 2000 and now supported by UNEP, World Bank, Ford Foundation etc.

IURMA is a self sponsored endeavor, as it has not crafted any separate project or received any funds from MA, but internalized MA process in ongoing projects of RANWA, Covenant Center for Development  (CCD) & Sustainable Transformations in Rural Area (SuTRA), funded by Centre for Environment Education (CEE), Department of Science and Technology, India (DST) & Oxfam GB.
